Dry roast the walnuts on medium flame for about 3-5 minutes.
Once they’re roasted enough, keep them aside & let it cool. Once cooled completely roughly chop & set them aside.
Keep a plate with parchment paper ready.
(Don’t keep this to get done later. It’s important that this step is done before hand because once the mixture is ready you have to immediately spoon them out)
Now in a non stick pan add the condensed milk, cocoa powder & butter.
Mix all these ingredients well.
Once mixed well, cook this mixture on medium flame.
Be cautious & don’t let the mixture burn as this will turn it extremely bitter & quite inedible.
Keep stirring till the mixture thickens and starts leaving the edges.
It’ll get fudgy, thick & come together.
Once it comes together put the flame off, add the chopped walnuts & mix it in the chocolate mixture.
Once mixed well use a spoon to scoop out dollops of the mixture on the parchment paper.
Keep these walnut rocks in the fridge to set for minimum 6 hours and maximum overnight.
Once set store these yummy delights in an airtight container. They will last you for a month.
Alternatively you could put the mixture in a parchment lined tin & keep it in the fridge to set.
Once set cut in squares & store them in an airtight container.
